Sizzle is a virtual fitness program and community that offers specialized workouts such as HIIT (high intensity interval training), strength training, and dance-based movement for 15 classes over the course of 4 weeks. All 15 workouts are live on Zoom or on the recorded replay library hosted in a site called Arketa. During the uncertain times of 2020, the safest place to continue exercising became your home. Sizzle was created to connect and sweat together for motivation, consistency, and accountability and is still going strong over 3 years later!
You know it! This virtual fitness community is for anyone looking to move and sweat as far as your WiFi reaches, no matter where you are in your fitness journey! The moves that are executed in the diverse Sizzle classes can be scaled or modified to accommodate all fitness experience levels and injury histories. Feel free to keep Coach Chels in the loop about any areas of concern to keep you moving as safely and effectively as possible!
Great question! Once you join the team, you will be added to the private Sizzle Facebook group where you'll be able to scroll through posts topics and interact with your teammates from all over the East Coast . This group will be used for providing updates on all things Sizzle, including scheduling and links to the live exclusive, secure Zoom classes, as well as links to access the each class on demand. Also included will be additional content to help you maintain your healthiest and balanced lifestyle.
Sizzle costs a total of $50 for 15 virtual classes that occur over the course of one month. However, there are different bonus classes and monthly sale incentives included exclusively for the Sizzle squad! Payment is currently accepted via credit card through the site Arketa, where the host on demand library is stored. Once the session begins, the payment is non-refundable.
Workouts are held three to four times per week and range between 30 and 45 minutes. Weekly schedules are released on Sundays prior to the start of the week. You can expect HIIT, strength, dancing-based, and lots of other specialty total body workout formats. You'll never do the same sweat session twice, unless you decide to retake a class via replay!
Yes, an exercise mat and at least two sets of dumbbells are preferred to reach your maximum potential in the weekly strength workouts. A light set and a heavier set of weights are ideal. We also utilize mini loop bands and ankle weights for added resistance! Other suggested, but not required equipment include an aerobic step, and a heavy kettlebell.

Don't worry, life happens! Within an hour of the completion of a live class, a replay link will be posted within the Sizzle Facebook group. This link can be accessed for as long as you are in the Sizzle community.
